Welcome to my page!!! Allow me to introduce myself. I received my BS
degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1968. I received my
MS in Biology and Immunology from Georgia State University in 1974, and
my Ph.D. in Pathology from Emory University in 1977. I have taught
biology and chemistry subjects for over 20 years at the high school,
college and post-graduate levels. I am married to Jim Pruitt, have
a son, Robert Wieker, in graduate school at Columbia in New York, and
two springer spaniels named Splash and Chief. My interests include baseball [very avid
fan], outdoor activities, traveling and writing.

Learning and Peer Mentoring.
During Summer I of 2009, I am teaching Anatomy and Physiology I [BSC2093] and
Anatomy and Physiology II [BSC2094]on the internet and API in blended
format all on the Main campus.
