Prof. Wagstaffe holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Florida International University. He joined the faculty of Indian River Community College as a Master Instructor in 2004. He was promoted to the rank of Assistant Professor in 2007.  Prof. Wagstaffe was born in Jamaica and moved to Florida when he was 13.  He has two brothers and two sisters and visits his beautiful homeland as often as he can. 
 

Prof. Wagstaffe has been certified by the District Board of Trustees of Indian River Community College to teach Sociology at the pre-baccalaureate level.
