Professor Wiltzius holds a Master of Arts in Applied Economics from the University of Central Florida.   Focus of study was International Economics.  His master's thesis is entitled:  A Case Study of the Diamond Industry.

His undergraduate degree is also from the University of Central Florida with a major course of study in Finance, and a minor in International Business.

He joined the faculty of Indian River Community College as an Instructor in 2006.

Previously Professor Wiltzius taught for eleven years at Valencia Community college in Orlando, Florida.
